I broke Maura's life

Maura rang up and said "We need to sort out Wednesday." And I asked what was happening on Wednesday. And she told me she'd got me a ticket to see HelloGoodbye, when I am in York. Grrr. But I'm sure she never actually told me she'd got tickets for it. I am a fool.

So we didn't go to IKEA, but we did get a sewing machine. What for? For sewing. End of. We do have a sewing machine, but it's as old as my mother, and like my mother, doesn't work very well is old.

I've just realised there are actually three sewing machines in this room, because there's one very old foot-powered thing. Plus my mother, so four. Wowser.
